Goldfish in your deep fryer...!

I was researching for my current drawing projects and found a wonderous video.

In Japan there are some deep fryers that double as a fish tank. This is an invention that innovates oil cooking because of it's unique reaction with water.
Amazing!!! Sustainable in way?

TEKKONKINKREET

This anime is so epic. It's about two orphaned street rat brothers, Black and White. Packed with wonderful animation and charming characters. Based on a manga by Taiyo Matsumoto. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a great story.

My favorite character is White because of his optimism, innocence, and toilet paper roll belt. I think this anime is a classic.

Jeremy Fish and Miss Van

A great show just closed with 2008 at Gallery Fifty24 here in San Francisco. I was thoroughly impressed by Fish's San Francisco mythology and wood shavings. It was hands down one of the best shows I've seen, period.

I have been a long time fan of française Miss Van. I absolutely love her drawings/paintings on canvas. This set of work was expectedly delicate. My favorite part of her paintings is the gold and silver shimmer that highlights like makeup! So sexy and feminine, why haven't girls painted like that before? It makes sense for women to understand layers of paint in such a way!!!

Randy Laybourne's 20X20

Randy finally finished his 20X20 project. I was lucky to see some pieces in progress a couple years ago. Everytime he updates his website (lookforwardtothepast.com), it's always an inspiration to see how much out put this man produces. It's amazing.
His work will be shown at STC in Oceanside, CA (swivtacklecircus.com) Jan. 17th until Feb 16th.

Congratulations Randy on your marriage and finishing a great body of work!!!
